Call for Makers

Independently-organized but inspired by Maker Faire and MAKE magazine, East Bay Mini Maker Faire is a full-blown community fair that brings together science, art, craft, homesteading and engineering plus music, food, workshops, and performance.

Last year, our fourth year, we featured over 170 makers, 7 stages, and welcomed 7,000 people to the combined grounds of Park Day School and Studio One Art Center.

This family-friendly event showcases the amazing work of all kinds of makers across the East Bay and beyond—anyone who is embracing the DIY or DIT (do-it-together!) spirit and wants to share their accomplishments with an appreciative audience.  Exhibits that are interactive or highlight the process of making things are especially desired.

One response to “Call for Makers

    1. I applied to host a workshop when you first put out the call for makers. I have written a couple of times checking to see if my submission was approved. I haven’t heard anything back. Any suggestions for how to get a reply. I really want to participate as a volunteer instructor / maker.
